This site is currently configured to display my resumé and portfolio contents relevant to the pursuit of a doctoral degree in technical and professional communication or a related field. Use the links to the left or the hot-linked graphics above to begin navigating the site.

NOTE: To further familiarize myself with emerging web-based technologies, I created burtaycock.com with Drupal, an open source content management system (CMS) which employs PHP/MySQL/Apache. Drupal allowed me to set aside traditional web editing tools, and to create this site directly through a web browser. I highly recommend Drupal to anyone interested in a top-notch open source CMS application.
